Implemented minimax search with alpha-beta pruning and heuristic move ordering.
Added iterative deepening and CPU-time checks to manage the search budget.
Used phase-based scoring for mobility, corners, edges, and discs.
Ranked 4th on the APS105 leaderboard in a 440-student course and received a Certificate of Outstanding Performance.

Adaptation & evaluation · Python, LoRA, Evaluation

Compared prompting and LoRA-based adaptation using questionnaire responses.
Implemented a residual linear head with approximately 4,096 trainable parameters.
Evaluated prediction accuracy against an unadapted baseline and repeated tests across models.
Initial accuracy gains did not reproduce consistently across models. The experiments do not establish a reliable improvement over the baseline.

Defined product requirements and directed AI-assisted implementation.
Deployed the website with Netlify and configured domain routing with Cloudflare.
Worked with Supabase as part of the project’s platform setup.
Launched a website used by 30+ international students studying in Canada.

Implemented JSON token serialization.
Used Python keyring to store credentials through the operating system’s credential store.
The initial data integration and credential-storage work are implemented. The project is still in progress.
